All in One Projector

Vader is a product I worked on at Targetti from 2022 to 2024, in collaboration with FMS - Fisher Marantz Stone, a prestigious lighting design firm based in New York.

Worked hard to creatively develop a product that would embrace the the philosophy of having ONE fixture with the features of an entire range. A Lighting product that would improve the experience for lighting designers and professionals, allowing them to manage and play with light on field.

The idea

Designed to be compact and easy to use, Vader's main idea was to allow the user to decide the best lighting effect directly on the field. This versatility allow the user to decide Beam Aperture, Dimming, Color Temperature and Control Protocol.

The activities performed involved:

Concept and product design (Aesthetic, features, functionalities, usability)
Competitive Benchmarking on Outdoor Projectors and Application Contexts
User Interviews and design Collaboration with FMS Lighting Design Studio - Fisher Marantz Stone.
Brainstorming Sessions mediation.
Design Sketching and Product Geometry, heat sink design.
Visual Material development (Rendering, Infographics, presentations, website)
Technical Contents (Specification Sheets, Instruction Manual coordination)
Installation layouts for Lighting Exhibitions (Euroluce 2023 in Milan, Light+Building 2024 in Frankfurt)
